Question

Describe a cafe, restaurant, or other place you like to go to drink something or have a small meal. You should say where the place is, when you often go, who you go with, and explain what you like about the atmosphere or the food and drink there.

Model Answer

A place I return to often is a small a short walk from my home. I usually go on Saturday mornings, my partner and sometimes on my own for reading time. I order a cappuccino and, if I am hungry, a plain croissant. The place is on a tree-lined side street, so the noise from traffic is not bad. I like the soft light through the big window and the friendly barista who always remembers my order. there and it is an easy start to the weekend for me.
