Question

The bar chart below shows the average number of hours per week students spent on online study in four subject areas in 2023. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Model Answer

The chart compares weekly online study hours for university students in four fields in 2023. Medicine students spent the most time, at 22 hours per week. Engineering students studied online for 18 hours, and business students spent 14 hours. Arts students had the lowest amount, with only 11 hours per week. In summary, medicine was the highest and arts was well below the other three areas.
