A Skill a Friend Taught You
Speaking Part 2
Question
Describe a skill that a friend taught you. You should say what the skill was and how your friend taught you. Explain how this skill has been useful in your life.
Model Answer
My friend taught me how to cook a simple stir-fry because I always ate instant noodles at university. She showed me how to cut vegetables safely and control the heat on the pan. We practised together twice a week for a month. Now I save money and eat healthier, and I sometimes cook for my housemates too.
