Question

Medical and cosmetic products are often tested on animals before human trials. Some people think this practice is essential for safety, while others consider it morally unacceptable. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Model Answer

has helped develop vaccines and medicines that save human lives. Scientists say it can show side effects before drugs are given to people. However, many people feel it is cruel and that alternative methods should grow. In my opinion, medical research may still need some animal studies, but cosmetics should not use them.
