Some governments want to limit single-use plastic products such as bags, bottles, and packaging, but businesses argue that this policy increases costs. Discuss both views and give your own view.

Model Answer

A ban on can reduce beach litter and help wildlife. Many citizens also support action on plastic waste after seeing pollution in rivers and seas. , small shops may struggle to find cheap alternatives, and the price of some goods can rise. I support strict limits in cities, combined with a gradual timetable so that businesses and consumers can adapt without sudden shocks.
