Urban Green Space and Public Health
Writing Task 2
Question
City governments sometimes sell parkland for housing or offices to boost the economy. Others argue that green space is vital for residents' health and quality of life. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Model Answer
Cities need money and more homes, so selling parks can seem attractive. New buildings also create jobs. But people need places to exercise and relax, especially in crowded areas. In my opinion, cities should protect most and build upward instead of removing parks.
